AUSTIN, Texas – On the opening day of the NCAA Championships, the sixth-ranked Men of Oregon advanced four to an event final. Redshirt senior Cravon Gillespie earned spots in the finals of the 100 and 200 meters and ran a leg on the Ducks' qualifying 4x100-meter relay. With Max Vollmer in the decathlon and Cooper Teare at 5,000 meters, Oregon have six scoring opportunities remaining.
The Women of Oregon will be featured Thursday with 12 of their 15 entries in action. Along with its semifinal heats, the team will have scoring chances in the 10,000 meters, long jump and javelin.
