EUGENE -- The Melyssa Lombardi era began on the field for Oregon softball on Saturday with a pair of shutouts, including a five-inning perfect game from Maggie Balint.
Balint struck out 13 in a five-inning perfect game and Alexis Mack (3-4, 5 RBI) and Maggie Camuso (2-3, 4 RBI) led the offensive barrage in a 19-0 Oregon win over College of the Siskiyous and Miranda Elish struck out six and allowed one hit over five innings while Mack (3-4, 2 RBI) and Haley Cruse (3-4, 2 RBI) led the bats in a 12-0 win over Western Oregon at Jane Sanders Stadium on Saturday.
