Megan Kleist's 2018 campaign has been one to remember.
She no-hit Montana in March, and pitched shutouts against No. 3 UCLA, No. 9 Arizona and No. 7 Arizona State.
Yet arguably her best performance of the year came Thursday against No. 2 Oklahoma. She pitched a complete-game, one-hit shutout against the defending back-to-back national champion Sooners to lead the No. 4 Oregon Ducks to a 5-0 win in front of a sellout crowd at Jane Sanders Stadium.
With the win, Oregon (35-7) also snapped the Sooners' 30-game win streak.
"I trusted my defense a little bit more than I usually do and that's what you got to do against good teams like this," said Kleist, who struck out five and walked one in seven innings to improve to 14-5 on the season.
