Your #13 Oregon Ducks battled fiercely against the #17 Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday at Matthew Knight Arena, but ultimately fell short, losing a hard-fought defensive slugfest 65-58. The Ducks struggled to find their offensive rhythm throughout the game, going long stretches without a made field goal. Purdue played solid defense all game, but Oregon just couldn’t find a way to knock down shots, shooting 18-50 from the floor and a pitiful 7-29 from deep.
Nate Bittle led the Ducks with 18 points, while Jackson Shelstad chipped in 15 points of his own, on a combined 9-24 from the floor and 6-17 from three.
