The #15 Oregon Ducks secured a much-needed bounce back victory over their hated rival, the Washington Huskies, on Tuesday night, winning the game 82-71. It was a bleak affair to begin the contest, with Washington taking control early on, leading by as many as eight points. But luckily, Oregon was never out of striking distance, reclaiming the lead with 3:25 remaining in the half, and would take a 34-32 lead into halftime.
The second half was much more of a back-and-forth game, with both teams trading the lead throughout most of the half. The Huskies would tie the game at 62 points with just under 6 minutes remaining, but Oregon would not give up the lead, fighting through some chippy play (by both sides), and cruising to an 11-point victory.
