Not a lot of Big Ten teams have played Oregon at Matthew Knight Arena over the last several years, but now, with Oregon joining the conference, they’re arriving in bunches.
And surprisingly, it hasn’t been very pretty.
The Ducks dropped their Big Ten home record to 1-3 on Saturday as they lost a cringingly ugly game to Purdue 65-58. In the second half, the Ducks went eight straight minutes without a point. The 58 total points were far and away a season low.
This coming a couple weeks after Illinois shot Oregon right off their own court in a 109-77 embarrassment.
