Two years after leading the Oregon Ducks into the inaugural College Football Playoff national championship game, Mark Helfrich will be a participant in the season-ending event once again Monday.
This time, though, his role will be on the small screen instead of the sideline.
Helfrich, fired Nov. 29 as Oregon's coach after four seasons, will serve an an analyst helping break down Alabama and Clemson's title-game rematch during ESPNews' "Coaches Film Room" broadcast. Helfrich will be joined by fellow coaches Syracuse's Dino Babers, Minnesota's P.J. Fleck, Baylor's Matt Rhule and Colorado's Mike MacIntyre, the network announced.
