The former Oregon Football Quarterback, entering his fourth season in the National Football League went 2 for 3 for 78 yards and a touchdown taking just about six minutes off the clock. Mariota spent part of the offseason spending time with his Wide Receivers and Tight Ends to work on fundamentals and building chemistry with his teammates. That showed on Thursday night as the Titans opened the NFL Preseason against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.
Tennessee lost the game in the end 31-17 after taking a 10-7 lead into Halftime. On his line drive of the night, Mariota was impressive converting two third downs and finding some running space for a brief 7-yard scamper.
