EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon softball head coach Melyssa Lombardi rounded out her coaching staff on Wednesday with the hiring of Megan Langenfeld as an assistant coach.
A three-time all-American and 2010 national champion as a player with UCLA, Langenfeld comes to the Ducks after spending the 2018 season as pitching coach at UC Riverside. She joins fellow assistant Justin Shults and volunteer assistant Sierra Romero on Lombardi's first staff at Oregon.
"I am excited to hire Megan Langenfeld as the final member of my coaching staff," said Lombardi. "Megan is a fierce competitor and a national champion, and her mental toughness as an athlete is impressive.
