EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon head coach Melyssa Lombardi announced the addition of Sam Marder as an assistant coach on Monday. Marder arrives in Eugene after successful stints as a hitting coach with multiple programs following a standout career as a player.
"I'm excited to announce Sam Marder as our new assistant coach," said Lombardi. "I have known and coached against Sam for many years. She has played and coached at a championship level her entire career and understands what it takes to have success at the highest level. I can't wait to have Sam get started with us and know she'll be an invaluable addition to our program.
