The class of 2018 in the state of Oregon was loaded with prospects, but the same cannot be said of the 2019 group, which has the headliners but little depth.
Leading the 2019 Oregon high school prospect rankings has been (and will continue to be) Sheldon four-star quarterback Michael Johnson Jr., the nation's No. 3 dual-threat signal-caller according to Rivals.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound passer is already the most heavily-recruited quarterback in Oregon prep history, boasting scholarship offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami (Fla.), Michigan, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, TCU, Tennessee, Texas Tech and several others.
