EUGENE, Ore. – In recognition of his performance during the 2018-19 season, Oregon standout Thomas Laurent has been named the ITA Northwest Regional Senior Player of the Year. He is one of 12 regional honorees eligible for national honors. In late April, Laurent received an at-large bid into the NCAA singles but for a second-consecutive year, will be forced to withdraw due to injury.
During his senior campaign, Laurent was 21-4 overall with a 10-4 mark against ranked opponents. At the No. 1 spot in the Ducks' lineup, he was 14-2 in dual play and won nine of his last 10 matches of the year.
