Lauren Lindvall hit a two-run homer to give Oregon the lead, and the second-ranked Ducks held on to beat the No. 4 Washington Huskies 4-2 on Saturday in Seattle to clinch the three-game softball series.
With the Ducks trailing 2-1, Lindvall stepped to the plate in the top of the fourth inning and sent a shot over the fence in center field to give the Ducks a lead they wouldn't relinquish. Oregon added another run on Lindvall's single in the top of the sixth that scored Shannon Rhodes.
