EUGENE, Ore. - Junior Megan Kleist was named Pac-12 pitcher of the year and nine players earned all-Pac-12 honors, the league announced on Saturday.
Kleist is second in the league with a 0.96 ERA and leads the nation with a 12.5-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio. The right-hander has 200 strikeouts in 160.2 innings and just 16 walks. She has more wins (19) than walks allowed this season.
Kleist has tossed two no-hitters this season and pitched a one-hit shutout against then-No. 2 ranked Oklahoma. She has not allowed more than three earned runs in any game this season and has posted double-digit strikeouts in 10 contests.
