New York gave the Wooten a chance in the NBA Summer League and they apparently liked what they saw. He played just five games in Las Vegas and on Monday was offered an Exhibit 10 contract that offers Wooten a chance to continue chasing his NBA Dream. In those games, he did not show much on offense but was able to show off his defensive prowess and athleticism.
Wooten had ten blocks in four games that included five in the final game of the NBA Summer League. It was enough to keep the New York Knicks intrigued in what Wooten may become down the line, but he has a lot of work to do.
