Keanon Lowe, one of the state’s most prominent football high school and college football players of the past decade, will become football coach at Parkrose.
The school plans to announce the hiring Tuesday, Parkrose athletic director Daunte Gouge wrote in an email to The Oregonian/OregonLive.
Lowe replaces Brian Davis, who stepped down after the 2017 season. Parkrose went 0-9 this past season, and have lost 23 consecutive games.
Lowe is a former Class 6A defensive player of the year while playing at Jesuit. Lowe went on to become a receiving standout at Oregon, where he was a three-year starter.
