The Oregon Ducks may have lost momentum during the 2018 recruiting cycle with Willie Taggart's departure, slipping from a potentially historic class top a top-20 showing.
But that momentum shift doesn't appear to be carrying over to the 2019 effort, as Mario Cristobal has his coaching staff finding their footing with many of the best prospects in the country.
The latest is 247Sports five-star defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux, the nation's No. 1 overall recruit.
On Wednesday evening, the 6-foot-5, 235-pound edge-rusher, out of Oaks Christian High School (Thousand Oaks, California), tweeted out his intentions to take spring visits to three schools - Alabama (April 7), Florida State (April 14) and Oregon (April 21).
