EUGENE – Oregon second baseman Kyle Kasser was one of five players named 2018 Senior CLASS Award ® First-Team All-American on Friday. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.
Kasser was an accomplished student who graduated in less than four years. The three-year member and past co-director of the Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) graduated in April with a 3.17 GPA in economics. He claimed second-team Pac-12 all-academic accolades as a sophomore and honorable mention recognition as both a junior and a senior.
