EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon head baseball coach George Horton announced today that Mitch Karraker will be the new Ducks’ pitching coach. Karraker replaces Dean Stiles who left to be the pitching coach at Florida International.
Karraker has been a part of the Ducks’ program since its return before the 2009 season. He was a catcher for the Ducks from 2009 to 2011 before spending the next four seasons in various roles with the baseball program. For the last two seasons, Karraker has served as an administrative assistant at Oregon assisting with duties in the baseball office and on the field as well as assisting with Oregon baseball camps.
