Kampmoyer Makes Mackey Watch List

Oregon senior Hunter Kampmoyer was named Friday to the preseason watch list for the John Mackey Award, which is given annually to the nation's most outstanding collegiate tight end.

A senior from Bishop, Calif., Kampmoyer started seven games during the Ducks' Pac-12 championship season in 2019. Among his five receptions were his first career touchdown, against Nevada, and two receptions on the opening touchdown drive of Oregon's Rose Bowl win over Wisconsin.

Originally a defensive lineman for the Ducks, Kampmoyer moved to tight end as a sophomore in 2018 but retained a nose for physical play at the line of scrimmage.
