After signing an historic 2018 recruiting class, Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks men's basketball team received their first 2019 commitment from top-50 center Francis Okoro in May.
Initially, it looked as though Oregon had a solid foundational piece to its follow-up class. However, Okoro reclassified into the 2018 group, providing further depth to one of the nation's top five recruiting classes.
The move also put the Ducks back at square one, in search of their first pledge for the 2019 recruiting cycle.
Far from panic time, Altman and his coaching staff are heavily involved in the recruitment of several five-star talents and took a step forward with one of those top prospects this week.
