Following the heartbreaker against Stanford on Firday night, the Oregon Ducks Women’s Basketball team got back to work against the California Golden Bears on Sunday. It was a good start for Oregon in the First Quarter of action as the team started out 3 for 6 from the floor hitting 57 percent. Jillian Alleyne would hit a basket on a foul extending the Ducks lead to 6 points 10-4 just past the midway point of the quarter.
Oregon started the Second Quarter pushing their lead to 7 points with an Alleyne shot in the paint followed by Vandenberg off a pass from Jillian Alleyne forcing a Cal timeout.
