The Oregon Ducks football program has accrued a top-five 2019 recruiting class over the past calendar year.
But that collection of talent took a hit Tuesday.
According to Rivals' Justin Rowland, four-star linebacker Jared Casey decommitted from Oregon on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-2, 225-pound outside linebacker, out of Ballard High School (Louisville, Kentucky), originally committed to Oregon in mid-October, citing the feeling he got during his September official visit.
"My relationship with the coaches was big and it felt like home," he told The Oregonian. "I'll have an opportunity to play early.
