Jamal Elliott, Oregon Ducks 4-star RB commit, out for season

Oregon Ducks four-star running back Jamal Elliott is out for the remainder of his senior season with a sports hernia injury, according to Jon Stout.

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound ball-carrier, out of Hillside High School (Durham, North Carolina), plans to enroll early at Oregon and will ink his National Letter of Intent during the early signing period.

Elliott is Oregon's lone running back commit in the class of 2018, and represents a key addition for the future.

He is rated the No. 7 all-purpose back in the country.

"Everyone wants to play their senior year, you know?
