The Oregon Ducks once had five four-star wide receivers in the class of 2018, but lost the entire set when Willie Taggart left for Florida State University.
Still, Oregon has been in the mix for several high-quality pass-catchers for several weeks, and it has felt like only a matter of time before (at least) one of them committed.
On Friday morning, the first piece fell into place, as 247Sports four-star wide receiver and U.S. Army All-American Bowl selection Jalen Hall announced his commitment to the Ducks:
The 6-foot-4, 192-pound pass-catcher, out of Long Beach Poly (California), has seen his stock ebb and flow over the past year, but at one point held more than 40 scholarship offer.
