Isaiah Hartenstein, a 7-foot German-American center who plays professionally in Europe for Zalgiris Basketball Club of Kaunas, Lithuania, was selected by the Houston Rockets with the No. 43 overall pick in the second round of the 2017 NBA draft.

Isaiah, 19, is the son of Florian Hartenstein, who played college basketball for the University of Oregon Ducks. Isaiah was born in Eugene in 1998 and spent the first 11 years of his life in Oregon, growing up surround by all the green the Willamette Valley has to offer.
