Ionescu Records UO's First Ever Triple-Double in Blowout Win

HONOLULU, Hawai'I – Freshman recorded the first triple-double in the history of Oregon women's basketball on Sunday to lead the Ducks to a commanding 91-62 win over San Jose State in their final game at the Rainbow Wahine Showdown.

How It Happened: Playing in only her seventh career game, Ionescu did what no other Duck has ever done with 11 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists. The Walnut Creek, Calif. native led the Ducks (6-1) to a dominant rebounding performance, as they doubled up the Spartans (2-4), 62-31, with 23 offensive boards.

It was all Oregon in the second half for the second night in a row after the Ducks carried an eight-point lead into halftime.
