EUGENE, Ore. - The accolades continued to roll in for sophomore Sabrina Ionescu, as the guard was named a Wooden Award All-American and one of five finalists for the John R. Wooden Award, which goes to the nation's top player.
Ionescu joined UConn's Katie Lou Samuleson and Gabby Williams, Louisville's Asia Durr and South Carolina's A'ja Wilson as Wooden All-Americans and the quintet will head to Los Angeles next weekend where one of the group will be named the Wooden Award winner.
The 42nd annual presentation of the John R. Wooden Award to the men's and women's most outstanding college basketball player will be the anchor presentation of the ESPN College Basketball Awards Presented by Wendy's on ESPN2 on April 6.
