The first home track meet of the Louis Quintana era takes place this weekend at Oregon State's Whyte Track & Field Center.
Quintana replaced Kelly Sullivan as OSU's head track and cross country coach in July, and promptly set about remaking the program.
He will put 2018 version of the Beavers on public display in the two-day OSU High Performance Meet, which begins Friday with a distance carnival and three field events.
There aren't many spectator amenities at the Whyte Track & Field center, although Quintana has one suggestion that could remedy that.
He says, half-jokingly, OSU will take Hayward Field's east grandstand, currently slated for demolition.
