How Dillon Mitchell got open for 3rd down catch that set up Oregon's walk-off TD vs. Washington

EUGENE -- CJ Verdell's game-winning, walk-off touchdown for Oregon against Washington wouldn't have happened if not for a critical third-down conversion three plays earlier.

Verdell was stopped on third-and-one from the 16, but Oregon was called for holding and had to face third-and-11 from Washington's 26.

"Obviously," Oregon coach Mario Cristobal said, "the holding penalty was something that was brutal for us to have in a situation like that."

The Ducks, who were 2 for 8 on third-and-seven-plus up to that point, lined up with three wide receivers to the right of the formation, the middle of whom was Dillon Mitchell.
