EUGENE -- Better book those tickets to Oklahoma City, because No. 1 Oregon Ducks softball is once again bound for the Women's College World Series.
Oregon scored a postseason-high 11 runs, with seven coming in the second inning, and rode the hot hand of Miranda Elish for the second consecutive game to run-rule Kentucky 11-1 in five innings in Game 3 of the Eugene Super Regional on Saturday at Jane Sanders Stadium.
This will be Oregon's fifth trip to Oklahoma City in seven years and the sixth in program history.
Shannon Rhodes led off the decisive seven-run second inning for Oregon (52-8) with a solo home run on the first pitch of her at-bat.
