EUGENE, Ore. — Justin Herbert, Dillon Mitchell, CJ Verdell and Travis Dye did the heavy lifting on offense, and Oregon's defense did its best to limit the damage from four UO turnovers as the Ducks won their 2018 home finale on Saturday, 31-29 before 50,483 fans in Autzen Stadium.
The Ducks improved to 7-4 on the season, matching their win total from 2017 with two games left to play. Oregon wraps up its regular season Friday at Oregon State, before moving on to a bowl game.
Verdell accounted for two touchdowns, Dye rushed for 105 yards, Mitchell caught four passes for 103 yards and a touchdown, and Herbert threw for 262 yards.
