This long-awaited match-up everyone has been waiting for, for almost a decade and a half now. Oregon vs. Alabama. The standard bearing dynastic program in college football against the up-and-coming football power. What’s that? Oh, they played each other in hockey? Oh, that’s cool too I guess.
For those unaware the Ducks hosted the Crimson Tide for two hockey games this past weekend on Friday and Saturday night. The Ducks won Friday night 3-1 and lost in Overtime Saturday night 3-2, to push there record on the season too 2-5-1-0 for 5 points. The Ducks dominated both games, Saturday a couple of bad breaks, a bad penalty, and stellar performance from the Tide’s goalie lead to the OT loss and Oregon having to settle for only one point.
