SPOKANE, Wash. — Oregon's season ended a game short of the Final Four for the second year in the row, as the UO women dropped an 84-74 decision to regional top seed Notre Dame on Monday in the Elite Eight.
The Ducks (33-5) enjoyed a historic season that saw them set a program record for wins, and capture both the Pac-12 regular-season title and — for the first time — the conference tournament title. But a year after a surprising run to the Elite Eight as a No. 10 seed, the second-seeded UO women weren't able to upset the Irish on Monday.
