PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Owning the nation's longest active streak of 28 consecutive games with a touchdown pass, Oregon senior quarterback Justin Herbert was named to the watch list for the 83rd annual Maxwell Award, which is presented to America's College Player of the Year.
It marks the second consecutive year that Herbert, who recently attended the Manning Pass Academy for the second time, has been on the Maxwell Award Watch List. Herbert was a semifinalist for the award in 2018.
The projected top quarterback in the 2019 NFL Draft, Herbert announced that he would be returning for his senior season prior to Oregon's win over Michigan State in the Redbox Bowl.
