Herbert Makes Unitas Award List of 30

BALTIMORE, Md. – Currently holding a streak of 20 consecutive games with a touchdown pass, Oregon junior Justin Herbert was one of 30 quarterbacks to make the initial cut for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award on Friday.

Herbert has helped No. 18 Oregon get off to a 4-1 start by leading the nation's 10th-ranked scoring offense (46.5). The Ducks are one of three programs (Alabama and Georgia) to score 30-plus points in each of their first five games.

The Eugene, Ore., native has connected on 64.7 percent (88-of-136) of his passes for Pac-12-bests of 1,411 yards and 15 touchdowns, figures that rank 12th and seventh nationally, respectively.
