Harrison Wins Ducks’ Third U20 Title

EUGENE, Ore. – Freshman Rheinhardt Harrison recorded this first win at Hayward Field Sunday with his performance in the USATF men's U20 1500 meters. In the senior-level competition, Raevyn Rogers was runner-up in the 800 meters and will represent Team USA at the World Championships in Budapest.

Sitting in second at the bell, Harrison powered away from the field with just under 300 meters to go and stopped the clock in 3:48.30 to secure the victory. The win marked the third U20 title of the meet for UO freshmen, joining Aaliyah McCormick (100H) and Benjamin Balazs (steeplechase).
