Eugene, Ore. – The Green Bay Packers picked Oregon center in the sixth round, overall pick No. 208, of the 2020 NFL Draft on Saturday.
With the selection, Hanson becomes the fifth center from Oregon picked all time in the NFL Draft and the first since the Chicago Bears chose Hroniss Grasu in the third round of the 2015 draft. The other three centers drafted out of Oregon were Bill Smith (16th round, 1967 by Pittsburgh), John McKean (17th round, 1972 by the Los Angeles Rams) and Fred Quillan (7th round, 1978 by San Francisco).
