SAN FRANCISCO – After winning games against No. 3 Florida, No. 19 Northwestern and No. 24 Missouri, Stevie Hansen has been named the Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
At last week's Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic, Hansen went 4-0 with a 1.27 earned run average. She yielded six runs – four earned – on 14 hits in 22.0 innings. Hansen struck out 13 and walked four.
Hansen threw a complete game, one-hit shutout against the Gators. She didn't allow a hit until a two-out single in the sixth inning, and faced just two batters over the minimum.
