Junior Aiden Krafft captured his first collegiate individual title at the Sahalee Players Championship on Sunday after carding birdies on the 6th and 8th holes to reach 4-under par for the tournament. Krafft then sank a crucial par putt on the par-3 9th to seal his victory. His 1-under final round propelled him past Arizona State’s Jose Luis Ballester and Preston Summerhays, marking his first win as an Oregon Duck.
This victory is Oregon’s first individual title since Nate Stember’s win at the 2023 Duck Invitational and the first season-opening individual win since Norman Xiong triumphed at the 2017 Rod Myers Invitational, where Xiong went on to secure six titles that season.
