EUGENE, Ore. – For a second time this season, redshirt senior Cravon Gillespie has been named the Pac-12 Men's Track Athlete of the Week. The Pasadena, Calif., native broke the Oregon school record at 200 meters to cap a three-win performance at the Desert Heat Classic in Tucson, Ariz.
In the Ducks' final event of the weekend, Gillespie crossed in a time of 20.23 to replace the previous mark of 20.27 set by Kyree King in 2017. Gillespie's time is No. 1 in the Pac-12 and ranks fourth in the NCAA this season. He also won the 100 meters in 10.
