The Oregon Ducks are less than a month away from signing the majority of what could be an historic recruiting class for the program, and for some of their top pledges that means saying goodbye to high school to enroll early in Eugene.
One of those players is Under Armour All-American linebacker Ge'Mon Eaford, who committed to Oregon over fellow finalists Florida, Florida State, Nebraska and Oklahoma.
Over the weekend, the 6-foot, 217-pound 'backer, out of Deerfield Beach, Florida, wrote a message to his high school football community, thanking them for his experience over the past four years (edited for punctuation/spelling):
"I, Ge'mon Eaford Oregon Ducks commit, would like to thank (the) Deerfield Beach High School football program for giving me the best high school experience.
