Oregon clinched its Super Regional spot for the second consecutive season with a flawless 3-0 record at the Santa Barbara Regional, with all but the final game won by a single run. The Ducks’ pitching staff was dominant, using only six pitchers across the three victories. Kevin Seitter’s standout performance was a 128-pitch complete game shutout against host UC Santa Barbara, marking his best start in an Oregon uniform.
Offensively, the Ducks did just enough, consistently manufacturing runs and never trailing in any of the three games.
Similarly, Texas A&M swept through its regional. They easily handled Grambling in game one and went 11 innings against Texas in game two.
