• 1 – With Oregon's win against Portland on Dec. 19, Dana Altman tied Louisville's Denny Crum for 24th in NCAA Division I career coaching wins with 675. Former Stanford and California coach Mike Montgomery is 23rd with 677.
• 2 –Oregon's defensive effort against Portland was among the best in the nation this season. The Ducks held the Pilots to 21.4 percent shooting from the field (12-of-56). In games between two Division I opponents, only Florida has done better this season.
