From Civil War to Platypus Bowl

Once upon a time, in the not-so-peaceful state of Oregon, there was a game. Not just any game. A game so epic it was named after the bloodiest conflict in American history—the Civil War. But, as we have collectively grown more sensible, that name is now history itself. So, dear fans, what do we call this gridiron showdown between the University of Oregon Ducks and the Oregon State Beavers? Well, we have a few suggestions, but before we dive into that, let’s look at the delightfully strange journey of this rivalry.
