SEATTLE, Wash. – Oregon topped Idaho in singles play, 5-3, while winning three of four doubles matches earlier in the day against Colorado and Portland State on a solid first day of the Husky Invitational Friday.
How it Happened: The Ducks opened the day with two doubles matches each against Colorado and Portland State, winning both against Colorado and splitting with Portland State. and took their match, 6-3, while and won, 6-1. The freshman tandem of and won their match against Portland State, 6-3.
Eshet and Mould both rolled to victories in singles play, winning 6-1, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-2 respectively, while Martinez Moral won her match 6-0, 6-4.
