An anchor on Oregon's Final Four team a year ago, Bell went from the eighth pick of the second round by the Chicago Bulls who was then traded to the Warriors on draft night, to a contributor off the bench for the defending champion Warriors as a rookie.
Bell averaged a modest 2.4 points and 2.8 rebounds in 10.2 minutes per game, but provided an important defensive presence off the bench as a key member of the Warriors' second unit.
He becomes the third former Ducks player to win an NBA championship, joining Greg Ballard and Jim Loscutoff.
