Dipping into its current pool of assistant coaches, Glencoe has promoted Ian Reynoso to head football coach, replacing Mike Fanger.

Reynoso begins his ninth year in the Crimson Tide program, as he was an assistant the past eight years, and four under Fanger, who recently resigned his position.

Reynoso was an offensive lineman for the Oregon Ducks from 2001-04.

Glencoe is coming off two years as an independent program. The Crimson Tide were 7-2 last season. They return to the 6A ranks this season, competing in the Pacific Conference.

Reynoso has been an assistant coach for 11 years, including three at North Marion.
