The powerful Oregon women's track team made history on Wednesday.
The top-ranked Ducks placed five athletes on the February women's watch list for The Bowerman Award.
The Bowerman is given annually to the top male athlete and top female athlete in collegiate track & field. No school ever had placed more than three individuals on the 10-person list.
Ducks honored included mid-distance runner Raevyn Rogers, hurdler Sasha Wallace and sprinters Hannah Cunliffe, Deajah Stevens and Ariana Washington.
The Ducks have several athletes ranked No. 1 in their events.
Oregon athletes Laura Roesler and Jenna Prandini won The Bowerman in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
