Oregon’s celebration in the visiting locker room after Sunday’s amazing comeback from a 17-point deficit echoed through the hallways of Washington’s Alaska Airlines Arena.
The Ducks were in a massive hole to the No. 24 Huskies just after halftime. They didn’t take their first lead until midway through the fourth quarter. The victory gave them six wins in their last seven games, and provided a boost to the UO women’s blossoming NCAA Tournament dreams.
As the celebration raged in the locker room afterward, no two players enjoyed it the way Washington natives Lexi Petersen and Jordan Loera did.
